A bit of history

Shardeni is a street located in the central part of old Tbilisi. The street bears the name of the French writer and traveler Jean Chardin, who traveled to Georgia in the 17th century, specifically Tbilisi, and left his description of the city.

Parisian corner

On the street there are a lot of cafes with terraces, which occupy almost the entire area of the street. By its appearance, Shardeni resembles a small Parisian region, in honor of the writer, whose name it has, of course.

The street is decorated with vintage objects, architecture lovers should pay attention to the interesting facades of houses.

Paradise for music lovers

For music fans, this is a real paradise. There is always playing background music, so suitable for a particular institution. Who prefers Russian music, one of the cafes on the street is famous for its repertoire of Russian songs.

For night parties

Especially for young people and nightlife lovers there are clubs and discos. Even if you arrive by late flight, on Shardeni Street you will always find a place where you can have a tasty meal or a snack.

Evergreen edge

Shardeni is an evergreen street, as many plants and flowers are planted on it. If you are worried about the ecology, then you should not, Shardeni is already working on this.

In our opinion, Shardeni Street is worth a visit, just to at least make your personal opinion about one of the main sights of Tbilisi.
